Here Be Wise and Learned Pundits

We are homeschool parents and classical school teachers who have finished the course, so to speak and our kids are mostly out on their own. We have a wealth of resources we would like to share with Christian parents who would like some free advice on Christian education and parenting, book reviews with a Jesus-centered ethos, and homeschool and classical school resources gathered over a lifetime.

In addition, there are contributions from some of our kids who have been homeschooled, and being the young generation, they have something to say. Hey. Hey. And finally some contributors are neither young nor homeschoolers but they have something to say as well.

Now, we are just getting started, and it’s going to take some time for those wise contributors to stop their cavorting around the empty nest and spending all that disposable income in their pockets now that the kids are off the payroll. But they are bound to settle down soon and start dispensing some wisdom and encouragement to those who are new to homeschooling or classical education or who are in the midst of it parenting their kids.

In the meantime, you can have my advice and the resources I am working to put online. Also, note that occasionally I write about the process I am going through as I build this website. If that doesn’t interest you, just skip those posts and be assured there is more about the main topic at hand to come.

What is a Poor Potsherd?

A potsherd, of course, is a piece of broken pottery and is used as a simile in the Bible.
It is also found in this hopeful poem by G. M. Hopkins.
