The Most Hopeful Words Jesus Spoke

Books Mentioned

  • Revelation by John
  • bookpost 1070

Everything passes away. Every toy I received eventually broke from use or misuse. Every gadget I have purchased has become obsolete. An old newspaper clipping I have saved crumbles in my hand. The lovely bowl that belonged to my great aunt is knocked off the shelf and shatters. Every atom in the universe itself will eventually lose all its energy and everything will go dark. And the people we love grow old and take to bed and sleep most of the time and eventually pass away.

So what are the most hopeful words Jesus ever spoke? We could argue that, depending on what we are hoping for that day. But today, I believe the most hopeful words the author and creator of the universe said are, “Behold, I make all things new.”
